The Boys – Reconnected
Manchester pop sensations ReConnected released their new single ‘Time Of Our Lives’ on the 21st October.
Having entered into the Top 40 earlier this year with their debut single ‘One In A Million’, this three piece boy band (consisting of brothers Harry and Max Mondryk and good friend Matt Fitzgerald) plan to fill the gap in pop/dance music left behind by JLS. Having all finished school, the three lads are now having the time of their lives and next year will see the release of their debut album and their own headline tour in spring.
Ibiza was home to the lads for four days whilst they shot the video for ‘Time Of Our Lives’, the perfect destination for their flirtatious, floor-filler tune. “We had an awesome time out there and the weather was so good!” says Matt. “We also had some VERY nice ladies to help film the video as well.” The track is packed with vivacious energy, playful lyrics and beats that make you want to bounce your way to the dance floor.
ReConnected have recently finished a tour supporting 2011 X Factor winners ‘Little Mix.’ “It was great meeting all the fans and getting to places we don’t go very often like Ireland for example. The fans are crazy and really dedicated there so it was great to get over and see them… to the point that we have decided to go to Belfast on our own headlining tour next spring!”
They first found fame on Britain’s Got Talent when they reached the final with previous band Connected. Narrowly missing out on the BGT title however has done them no harm. Once signed, they were put straight into the studio with internationally acclaimed writer and producer Tim Woodcock whose hit songs have sold over 23 million records worldwide having worked with the likes of Gary Barlow, JLS, Eliza Doolittle, James Morrison and Jay Sean. More recently, ReConnected have been working with writer and producer Art Bastian who has produced tracks for the likes of The Saturdays, Tinchey Stryder and Lethal Bizzle to name a few.
Leyton Bracegirdle, head of Chart Show TV has said of their new single, “A perfect collision of Ibiza dance and boyband pop – Time Of Our Lives should be the track to break Reconnected. Big hook, great video, 3 hotties – what’s not to love?”
With over 28,000 followers on Twitter and more than 64,000 likes on Facebook, ReConnected are gaining a loyal fan base through gigging every day. “We never stop working because we all have a hunger for success,” says Harry. “We’d love to be known all over the world for the work we put in and our music.”
With this reaction happening at every show and armed with a killer dance floor filler ReConnected can look forward to returning to the UK charts with ‘Time Of Our Lives’ and living out their dreams in 2014.
